Board of Zoning Adjustment
The Planning and Zoning Department is the liaison for the Board of Zoning Adjustment.
- The Board of Zoning Adjustment (BOZA) only meets when applications for BOZA action have been made, with the exception of its annual meeting which is held in the first quarter of each year.
- Board of Zoning Adjustment meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 3:00 p.m. in the Lower Level Meeting Room LL3 of the Fremont County Administration Building.
- Submittal deadlines are 20 working days (excluding holidays and weekends) prior to the meeting date and all applications must be submitted to the Department by 3:00 p.m. on the deadline date.
- Applications for medical hardship waivers, variance to the requirements of the Fremont County Zoning Resolution and appeals to interpretations of the Zoning Resolution are heard by the Board of Zoning Adjustment at a public hearing with a final decision rendered.
