Although only ten noxious weeds have been targeted within Fremont County, this does not mean that these are the only weeds that are controlled. There are 56 weeds on the state list, and this list is growing as more weeds are introduced through a variety of sources; such as ornamentals, hay or straw and the like. The ten targeted weeds are those that the Fremont County Weed Board offers to share in the expense of control with the property owners.
