The Fremont County Clerk’s Office would like to make voters aware of an unintentional printing error, by our vendor, to Precinct 16’s ballots.
The ballots for precinct 16 do not have the Fremont County Fire Protection District’s Ballot Issue 5A on them.
In order to rectify the situation we are sending the voters of precinct 16 a supplemental ballot with just Ballot Issue 5A on it, to be returned to our office on or before Election Day, November 4th, 2014 by 7:00pm.
Please DO NOT return the supplemental ballot with the original ballot we sent you! Use the supplemental envelope provided. You can mail it back or drop it off at any drop off location.
For any questions or concerns please contact the Fremont County Clerk’s Office at 719-276-7340.

FREMONT COUNTY EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR
Fremont County Elected Officials named Wyatt Sanders as the Fremont County Employee of the Year for 2013. Wyatt does a great job, and his co-workers notice and appreciate his contributions. Wyatt has worked in the Building Department for over five years. He is currently a Building Inspector. As stated in his nomination letters:
“…consider the great job that he does, he goes out pretty much regardless of weather conditions…”
“…taken it completely upon his own initiative to rewrite the new Fremont County OWTS Regulations…”
“…he was not asked or required to do this, he knew it was something that needed to be done so he started and finished it on his own!…”
Wyatt’s pride in Fremont County shows and his years of loyal service are commendable. The County is a better place with Wyatt a part of it.
Other nominees for this award: Francie Mattson, Payroll Coordinator; Erik Sebek, Facilities Technician; Marty Keen, Deputy Assessor; and Matilda Ahkeah, DHS Case Aide III.
Congratulations to all and job well done!
