Phantom Canyon Now Open
Phantom Canyon (CR 67), is now open to all traffic. Crews finished with repairs to the roadway this morning. The Fremont County Department of Transportation would like to thank all citizens for their patience while we worked with many entities in efforts to repair the washouts from the flooding event in 2015. Safety is priority, and we appreciate all the cooperation and assistance we received.

A few roads still remain closed, as listed in the article below.
January 5, 2016

Road Closure Updates:

CR 69: Now open. Road is rough, but passable. Please be patient and drive accordingly, as the road still needs work.

CR 12: passable with a 4-wheel drive vehicle.

CR 45: Closed

The road closures are due to rock slides and wash outs and are not passable. Crews are working as quickly as possible to get these areas opened and to mitigate further issues. We are asking citizens to please be patient and to understand that these closures are for your safety.
