Fremont County's Voting System
To comply with the Federal Help America Vote Act, voters in Fremont County began using new election equipment at the polls in 2006. This new election equipment is called eSlate with Verifiable Ballot Option (VBO). The eSlate® captures your votes electronically and the VBO prints a record of your votes on a voter-verified paper audit trail.
The new system is easy to use, accessible and meets all the requirements of the Help America Vote Act. Plus, the new system provides all voters with the opportunity to cast their ballots privately, accurately, securely and verifiably.
Using eSlate is easy! Please take a moment to review a short video (Adobe Flash Player format) provided by the manufacturer or review the Quick Start Instruction ( Adobe Reader format).
